Calling all managers and leaders in the Basel area! Are you going to dare to read Dare to Lead by Brené Brown? Maybe this book on your bedside table, cued up in your iBooks or downloaded to your Kindle. Maybe you have been meaning to read it but haven’t found the motivation or the time. Why not come along with us on this reading journey? We will read the book in stages on our own and then meet up every other week for four sessions during January and February for a facilitated conversation to get the new year started off right.
The conversation will be lead by myself, a Certified Dare to Lead facilitator. You may already be familiar with the research of Dr. Brené Brown from her well known TED talk on vulnerability and her best selling books Daring Greatly and Rising Strong. I have run workshops introducing the importance of vulnerability and resilience in our efforts to live a brave life. Are you curious about how this work relates to leadership? Read along and come along for engaging conversation with other leaders about courageous cultures, vulnerability in the work place and rising skills. Learn the difference between armored leadership and daring Leadership. I look forward to hearing and learning from you as well about how you feel these issues show up and play out in organizations.
